A Wedding in Our Garden, A New Friendship & Let's Fly Arrives

This week has been one of those weeks that reminds me just how much joy can be found in opening your home, making time for people and embracing life's unexpected moments.

It begins with preparations for a very special wedding here at home after a young couple found themselves without a venue at the last minute. Watching them begin married life surrounded by family, friends and the Sussex countryside was an enormous privilege, and one I'll never forget.

Alongside the wedding, an Instagram friendship becomes a real-life one as Janet visits all the way from South Africa to share one of her favourite family recipes. We spend a gentle afternoon cooking together, chatting about homemaking, friendship and the wonderful community that has grown through social media. There's also plenty of everyday life woven through the week: early mornings in the garden, horses to care for, fitness, honest conversations about looking after ourselves, a trip to Cornbury Park and some exciting behind-the-scenes updates.

Perhaps the biggest moment of all is finally holding the very first copy of Let's Fly in my hands. After so many months of writing, recording the audiobook and quietly hoping people might love it, seeing the finished book arrive was incredibly emotional.

If you're feeling as though life is moving quickly at the moment, I hope this week's vlog feels like a gentle pause and a reminder that kindness, friendship and small everyday moments really do matter.
