Celebrating Coco’s 13th birthday, ombre cakes and more!
I’ve got a bit of everything for you this week!
Some interior glow-ups, cake decoration, podcast recommendations and more… it’s been a very varied week!
The wonderful Em has been into the B&B room at home to tackle the cracks and refresh the walls and we’ve got a carpet fitter coming to quote us on some new carpet. I’m feeling awfully excited about the prospect of a polished room ready to welcome people to the English countryside this year. Do DM me if you’re looking for a quiet Sussex getaway!
I also have a go at my very first four-layered ombre cake for Coco’s 13th birthday… thanks for the inspiration TikTok! Considering it was my first go, I thought it actually turned out quite well… the kitchen not so much, there was a huge mound of washing up to tackle afterwards!
I also tell you a little about my adventure into London with the family, who shopped whilst I attended a fantastic morning at boot camp with Leigh. Filled with friendly faces, it was such a great morning and as always I got so much out of it. I then met the rest of the family for a delicious lunch, some retail therapy and a long soak in a jacuzzi to soothe my sore muscles. Bliss!
Lastly, I’ll give you a glimpse into some new wardrobe additions from the incredibly talented Vanessa Rose and one of my high-street faves, Zara! They have some wonderful Spring pieces coming in and I picked up a lovely blouse and shirt dress ready for the change in season.
