Devon fun, chocolate treats and my Efficient Home online course!

This week’s vlog is filled with Devon fun, chocolate treats and cleaning tips!

We spent the most gorgeous weekend in Devon with Archie to celebrate his birthday. Of course, no time in Devon is complete without a trip to Saunton Sands beach to surf with Jamie from Surf Saunton! It was a little cold for me but that didn’t stop the boys from heading out to enjoy the waves. We followed that up with card games and a very relaxed evening at home - it couldn’t have been more perfect.

Once again Archie thrilled us all with his tales of school. He described it as ‘having lots of brothers’ which fills my heart with such joy! Considering it was such a monumental move, he’s absolutely run with it and is loving every second.

Once home from Devon, I got stuck into prep for the monthly Midhurst Buds & Blooms Society meeting, and whipped up some of my famously moreish fridge cake pieces… you have got to try these! I’ll leave the recipe down below for you to download and print.

I also thought I’d take some time to chat through my Autumn cleaning routine and process. I actually tend to think that Autumn cleaning is more significant that Spring cleaning - since you’re following a full-on Summer and getting ready for the chaos of Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas and New Year! If you tackle the house now and get it into ship-shape, those events will run much smoother - I promise!

Lastly, I chat a little about my Efficient Home Course, which starts this coming Monday the 3rd of October.

Within the course, which is held online and completely self-led, I show you exactly how I manage our home and help others manage theirs!

We’ll talk cooking, cleaning, meal planning, time management and general organisation and I’ll be sharing some very nifty home hacks in the hope it will enable you to run an efficient, happy home.

I’ll be there to guide you the whole time. I’ll also run a Facebook Live once a week to answer any questions you may have. If you’re not on Facebook or can’t make the lives, that’s okay! Each video will be saved in the group and uploaded to the coursework so you can catch up.

You will have access to all of my resources - cleaning schedules, recipes, batch cooking, time management systems, freezer diary, you name it it is in there!

There are two course options. A three-week course, and a four-week course which includes a week focusing on families and children.
