Early Spring Try-On: Cosy Layers, Classic Denim & My Cheltenham Look

This week’s Ask Charlie is part two, and we’re moving from jewellery into clothes, layering and that slightly awkward moment when the seasons begin to shift.

We’re almost in March, and I’m starting to put away the thickest winter knits and lighten the load a little but I’m not getting carried away. Spring might be peeping through in the daffodils and little signs outside, yet the weather still feels very much like winter here in the UK. So this is about dressing for right now: staying warm, feeling comfortable, and still enjoying what you’re wearing.

I’m sharing a few easy outfits I genuinely live in, from soft “around-the-house” pieces to simple looks that work for the school run, meeting a friend or heading up to London for a day of meetings.

We chat about choosing colours that suit you (and how quickly you can tell when something drains you) and why I’m enjoying a change from skinny jeans into more relaxed, straight-leg styles.

There are a few new-in favourites, some practical jacket options for this time of year, and a dress that reminded me how lovely it can feel to step out of denim and into something a little more feminine and floaty. I also show you my Cheltenham outfit, and we talk about what really matters on a long day out: warmth, layers, and comfortable footwear.

If you’re feeling a bit stuck with what to wear between seasons, I hope this video feels like a calm little nudge to have a try-on, a play, and to keep only what you truly reach for.

Love, Charlie x
