How to Make Sage & Chestnut Stuffing from Scratch (Foraging for Christmas or Sunday Roasts)
This week I’m heading into the chestnut woods beside the house for a little seasonal foraging before heading back to the kitchen to make one of my favourite recipes - sage and chestnut stuffing. It’s a simple, delicious dish that’s perfect for a Sunday roast or to get ahead for Christmas.
I show you exactly how to pick, roast and peel chestnuts (without burning your fingers!), then turn them into a beautiful stuffing with sage, onion, and homemade sourdough breadcrumbs. You can make it now and pop it in the freezer ready for December, or enjoy it straight away with roast chicken or turkey.
I also share a look at my Christmas planners - designed to make the season far less stressful. They’re full of recipes, tips, and checklists to help you get ahead and actually enjoy Christmas. Both my Christmas Planner and Christmas & New Year Planner are available on my website if you’d like to get organised early this year!
