How To Pack Like a Pro (City Break Edition)
In this week’s How-To video, I'll walk you through my packing process for a city break to Barcelona.
I don't travel light, and my suitcase could give Mary Poppins a run for her money! However, I always think it's better to be prepared for anything. I start by planning my outfits a week ahead, involving a mini fashion show with input from Sigh, who always has a front-row seat of course!
I find utilising the Notes app on my phone really helpful. I always list what I pack and what I could have done with in hindsight on the way home from each trip, which helps me plan for future travels.
I organise items in little bags rather than packing cubes, ensuring essentials like shoes, swimwear, underwear, and toiletries are accounted for and ticked from the list as I go.
Outfit-wise, I always opt for versatile pieces that can be mixed and matched for various occasions. Planning and trying on outfits in advance reduces last-minute stress and ensures everything fits and coordinates well, and I always ensure things are clean and ironed well in advance too.
Tissue paper is my secret hack for minimising wrinkles, especially for delicate items like silk tops.
