Simon's joined me this week to talk through exactly how we planned and pulled off Archie's 18th the big decisions, the things that worked brilliantly, and what we'd do differently next time.
We cover why we chose to host at home rather than going into London, how we settled on security for 160 guests and why it turned out to be the best money we spent, the bell tents that let us accommodate 20-odd friends overnight without a single teenager under our roof, and all the practical bits water, food timing, bins, broken glass, and getting the start and finish times right. It's an honest, unglamorous look at what actually goes into a party like this, from two parents who went in without a huge amount of planning and came out the other side having genuinely loved it.
