Spring Gardening, Dahlias | Potatoes | Sweetpeas & Barcelona Sunshine
This week’s vlog begins at home with one of those much-needed slower weekends, the sort where there is still plenty to do, but everything feels a little more grounded. I’m chatting about balance, pacing ourselves, and why the quieter days are just as important as the busy ones especially when life, work and family all feel very full.
There is a lovely mix of spring life at home: watching Coco ride, visiting the tiniest baby lamb, feeding Billy dandelions, pottering in the garden, preparing pots for tomatoes, checking on the sweet peas, planting potatoes and Dahlias then finally tackling that wardrobe sort-out I had been putting off for far too long.
Then we head to Barcelona with Simon for his work trip. I share a few snippets from our favourite hotel, some gentle wandering, a little shopping, rooftop quiet time, dinners out, and a few moments of sunshine and rest in between work, editing and meetings.
It felt like one of those weeks that held a bit of everything home, family, organisation, gardening, travel, work, rest and remembering that balance does not always mean doing less, but perhaps doing things with a little more intention.
If you’re feeling pulled in lots of different directions at the moment, I hope this feels like gentle reassurance that you can still find small pockets of calm within a busy life.
