Tending to my garden pots... taking cuttings for the future and tucking in plenty of bulbs!

I get so many questions about the garden's pots and containers and how I tend to them throughout the year.

I needed to give them some TLC so thought why not bring you along with me!

I like to plan my garden in advance. Now is the time to be planting your bulbs, your daffodils and alliums, planning your cutting pots and beds and keeping an eye on what may need replacing. Have certain plants had their best days? Have they been in the ground a long time? What do you want to grow next year? Plan it all now so you're well ahead and know where everything is going to go, what you need to buy or grow from cuttings or seed.

The first thing I always do is take a few cuttings and keep them inside the house. That way hopefully by next spring they'll be lovely new plants that I can replace these current ones with. So they are acting as my mother plants. If your plants aren't flowering as brilliantly as they once did, it could be time to take some cuttings and use those next year.

Do watch the video below to see how I cut, prepare and plant my cuttings ready for their new lives, plus get all my bulbs tucked away for a full bloom in the future!

Love, Charlie x
