Firstly, I would like to say an enormous thank you for all your lovely messages about Cassie, Coco’s pony. You are all so kind and I really appreciate you taking the time to write. Our vet came out last week so I do have an update for you all.

What an exciting weekend celebrating King Charles & Queen Camilla, I thought it was just fabulous and was glued to the TV - aside from having to complete the world's quickest B & B changeover!

I have had a productive week in the kitchen garden. I've built my sweet pea frames and planted them out, along with my vegetable seedlings. There is something so therapeutic about getting your hands in the soil, being out in nature with the ponies happily grazing behind me!

I did manage to fit in a little reading time to treat myself, I'd love to know if you prefer books or reading on a Kindle? Personally, I have always read from a book however it is rather tricky reading at night and not disturbing Sigh!

After spending a little time in the garden, I bring you into the kitchen to make a batch of leftover veggie soup - perfect to use up all your odds and ends, then batch cook and freeze to ensure you always have something yummy to hand!

Lastly, I got to watch Gus play cricket in the typical English rain, before finishing the week having a very exciting conversation with a man about chocolate... watch this space!
