A Gentle Week Between Christmas & New Year - Slow Living & Cosy Homemaking

This week I’m sharing those quiet days between Christmas and New Year - the time I love most for gentle pottering, long walks, catching up on laundry, and a bit of self-care.

We had such a lovely Christmas, choosing roast beef and Yorkshire puddings instead of turkey, heading out for frosty countryside walks, enjoying evenings by the fire and sharing lots of laughter. In this vlog I take you along on winter dog walks with the Labradors and Dachshunds, spend time mucking out the horses and soaking up some peaceful moments outdoors, and slowly work my way through the inevitable post-Christmas laundry and ironing pile.

I also chat to you while getting ready for Christmas drinks and share a little about a new project I’ve been quietly working on, as well as showing you what I got for Christmas, including some really thoughtful and special gifts. Throughout the week I reflect on the importance of slowing down, listening to your body and being more present during this gentle pause before the New Year begins.
