Christmas Traditions, Homemade Gifts & Calm Festive Tips (Q&A Part One)

This week’s video is a little different - I’m answering your questions from Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, all centred around Christmas (with a few extras thrown in). I didn’t look at them in advance, so you’re getting my first, honest answers!

I shared some of our favourite family traditions - from decorating the tree together with music and bubbles, to walking to church on Christmas morning, which never fails to make the day feel truly special. We also spoke about homemade and eco-friendly gifts - things like pine cone firelighters, chutneys and Florentines - simple, thoughtful ideas that don’t need to cost a fortune.

There’s plenty of chat about gift planning, favourite carols and Christmas films, staying calm under pressure, storing decorations neatly, and even how to prep your roast potatoes ahead of time. I also answered questions about cooking, décor, and how I make Christmas feel special without stress - including a little on how my Ask Charlie Christmas online courses came to be.
