Come Shopping With Me & Enjoy Parham House Gardens

This week was a real mix of show jumping lessons, sports day, cricket matches, mountains of laundry, shopping trips and long walks in the countryside!

It began with me fixing up the holes in the kitchen garden’s protective netting, something I’ve been meaning to do for a while since the berries have been visited by a few winged friends recently! I then returned to the kitchen with a healthy haul of strawberries ready to make strawberry jam, which you’ll be pleased to know is next week’s How-To video.

June is quite a full-on month and a bit of a juggling act, especially with the children at different schools. They’re all on different timetables so it can be a bit of a challenge, but I do my absolute utmost to spend as much time with them as possible and attend as many of the events held as I can.

I also talk a little about online negativity and how I’ve dealt with the journey of putting myself out there online. My air-fried halloumi fries video went viral this week, so I have reached a wider audience, and thankfully I’ve learned how to tackle the trolls!

We also have a little cameo from the fabulous Sigh showing you all how he whips up his egg mayonnaise sandwiches! I wonder how he’d feel about an Ask Simon channel?!

Lastly, I take you on a quick tour of a couple of my favourite shops in Petworth and stunning Parham House Gardens, and show you a few gorgeous new additions to the garden, including the most wonderful chairs and serve ware from Vintage French, a new find of mine!

I hope you enjoy,

Love, Charlie x
