Easter in the Kitchen with Me | Pavlova making & Simple Seasonal Decorating

Welcome back to my kitchen.

With Easter just around the corner, I thought it would be lovely to spend some time together making a beautiful Easter pavlova and setting a simple spring table using pieces I already have and love. This is the kind of seasonal preparation I enjoy most, something homemade, something thoughtful, and something that helps mark the occasion without needing to overcomplicate it.

In this video, I’m sharing how I make my pavlova, with a soft marshmallowy middle, a crisp shell, and a topping of cream, yogurt, blueberries, chocolate and delicate edible primroses. I also talk through a few little tips along the way, from separating eggs carefully to cooking meringue low and slow. It’s one of those recipes that feels wonderfully special and yet still very achievable.

Alongside the baking, I’m also putting together an Easter table using the same tablecloth and placemats I’ve styled before, simply changed with yellow linen napkins, ribbon, flowers from the garden and a few small seasonal touches. I always think there is something reassuring about making what you already own work in different ways through the year. It doesn’t need to be expensive or elaborate to feel beautiful.

There is also a little moment of spring foraging in this video too, with hellebores, primroses and a few tips for arranging flowers simply at home. I wanted this video to feel like a quiet dose of Easter inspiration, not just for baking, but for creating a home that feels welcoming and gently seasonal.

If you’re feeling a little tired, stretched, or in need of some calm inspiration, I hope this video feels like a peaceful corner of the week.
