There are moments in life that feel full and fast and slightly surreal… and then there is the gentle return back home again.

This vlog holds a little bit of both.

It begins on a train platform, bags packed, heading into London for something that felt exciting and nerve-wracking in equal measure. There’s that quiet anticipation before stepping into something unknown, the kind that sits just under the surface. And then, in true life fashion, it unfolds with laughter, last-minute ironing, a hunt for bright pink socks, and the comfort of companionship when it matters most.

The following morning brings early starts, tired eyes, and that familiar mix of nerves and adrenaline before going live on television. But also a reminder that often, the things we worry about the most turn out to be far gentler than we imagine. Kind people, warm moments, and a sense of “we’ve got this” carried us through.

And then, just as quickly, life returns to its usual rhythm.

Back home, it’s dogs, children, cooking, tidying, riding lessons, and all the beautifully ordinary things that anchor us. There’s something deeply comforting in that contrast. From the buzz of London to the quiet of the countryside. From being “on” to simply being.

I also share a little glimpse into what’s been quietly unfolding behind the scenes… a new book, very different to the first, and very close to my heart.
