How to Make Attar of Rose Cordial – A Fragrant Homemade Favourite (Recipe & Tips Inside)

This week I’m sharing my recipe for Attar of Rose Cordial, one of my absolute favourites.

If you’ve never grown or used rose geranium before, I really recommend it – the scent alone is worth it. This cordial is so easy to make, and it’s incredibly versatile too. You can drink it simply with sparkling water, freeze it in cubes for cocktails, or use it to flavour icing, drizzle cakes, or elevate puddings. A tiny bit goes a long way – it’s delicate, floral, lemony, and utterly delicious.

In the video, I walk you through how I pick and prepare the leaves, infuse the syrup with lemon and citric acid, and bottle it all up. It’s simple, fuss-free, and so worth doing. I’ll also leave the full recipe linked below so you can save or print it. Let me know if you give it a try!

Love, Charlie x
