Slow Summer Days, Flower Picking & Cooling Tips for the Heatwave (Summer Homemaking)

This week, I wanted to share a little bit of summer life from home – from flower picking in the garden and making the most of what's still blooming, to refreshing a flower arrangement with bits from the walled garden and talking through how I keep the house cool in a heatwave.

It’s been lovely having my little nephew stay – he's kept us on our toes – and reminded me just how full-on life with small children is. I’ve also shared some simple summer rituals I love: making herb-infused drinks, fresh mint tea, and just slowing down during the holidays to reset and recharge.

There’s also a little flower arranging, a few cooling tips for your home, and my favourite cotton nightwear for this heat – all part of embracing the slower pace of a summer well spent.

Love, Charlie x
