This week I found myself in a recording studio in London, reading my own words back to myself and trying not to fall apart. Let's Fly is done, and I can’t quite believe it!

It's been one of those weeks that arrives as a collection of ordinary things and turns into something you won't forget in a hurry. The pizza oven landed on the doorstep (Simon was none the wiser), the outdoor kitchen is officially happening, there were pots to plant and a horse to prepare, and somewhere in there Gus turned a year older and Coco jumped her first BE100 course with Fifi, clean across every fence but one.

And then there were two days on the train to London, a wonderfully patient Audio Producer, and the whole complicated business of being seriously dyslexic and reading your own book aloud without breaking down. Recording Let's Fly was one of the most draining, emotional things I have ever done. But it's done. There was a moment at Embankment station, a clip from Sophie, a few hundred strangers rushing past, where I had to just stand still and let it all catch up with me.
