What I Eat in a Day at 46 | Honest Midlife Eating & Real Meals

This is the video you've asked for more than any other, and the one I've avoided for years. I'll be honest about why: I was a bit ashamed of what I used to eat, and I didn't want to film something that wasn't real.

So here it is, a real, honest day of eating on a term-time weekday at home. Just me, the dogs, a Zoom meeting to get to, and a fridge full of leftovers after Archie's 18th. I talk about the crisps-and-chocolate lunches of the past, the afternoon slumps, and how working with a coach has changed the way I eat and, more importantly, the way I feel.

There are no hard and fast rules here, and this isn't about restriction. It's about protein with every meal, batch cooking and batch prepping so there's always something good to hand, sitting down to eat, and being kind to yourself when a weekend doesn't go to plan. My everyday breakfast, a leftovers lunch with homemade broccoli and cheese soup (the recipe is in the Members Club for October), and a quick sweet potato supper. Please remember this is simply what works for me. Everybody's body is different.
