Horse Trials, Brand Deals & The Comments I Don't Usually Share

I'm bringing you into a proper week in the saddle, an early alarm, a horse trial, and a few honest thoughts I've been sitting on. From a 4:15am start for Coco's competition to a quiet week home with the horses while she's away in Greece, right through to a few evening hack on Fifi as the weather finally turned.

For me, this week was a reminder that the glossy bits and the harder bits sit side by side. There's a double clear and a couple of lovely deliveries, and there's also an honest conversation about a not-so-kind comment I received on a brand partnership, and why I choose to work with the brands I do. I think there's something to be said for showing that side too, rather than only the beautiful moments.

It's also lovely having pockets of quiet with just the horses and dogs for company, whether that's blackberry picking, mucking out, or finally getting some rain after weeks of dry ground. If you've ever wondered what actually goes on behind a "normal" week here, I hope this gives you an honest look and a bit of reassurance that it's not all polish behind the scenes.
