Let’s Fly | A Week of Sourdough, New Beginnings & Everyday Life

This week’s vlog is a full and very real few days of home, family, work and quite a lot of excitement. We begin in the kitchen with early morning sourdough, laundry drying over the Aga, GCSE revision in full swing, tomato planting, horse jobs, tick checks and all the usual little pieces of family life that somehow fill a day before it has even properly begun.

There is also something very special to share: the first pieces from Ask Charlie Home have arrived and launching in June. Oven gloves, Aga pads, tea towels and gauntlets, all British made, beautifully simple and something I have quietly dreamed about for such a long time. It feels very special to finally be able to show you.

We then head to Badminton Horse Trials for a wonderful day of old friends, new friends, beautiful brands, a little shopping, books, dresses, British made finds and even a fire pit coming home with us.

There is also a quieter, more emotional thread running through this vlog as I share a little from my new book, Let’s Fly, and reflect on why it means so much to me. Pre orders available on my website and all orders before 31st May will receive a signed copy.

If life feels full at the moment, I hope this vlog feels like gentle company a reminder that busy seasons can still hold beauty, meaning and small moments of joy.

Love, Charlie x
